Bayu has 19 years’ experience in the energy sector and draws on broad international experience in economics and information technology (application development & programming). He supports Elenchus clients’ intervention and participation in rate hearings and other regulatory proceedings and consultations by reviewing applications, identifying issues, preparing interrogatories and written submissions.
Bayu also supports clients by monitoring and undertaking research on energy market, policy, and legislative developments affecting the regulated energy sector. Before moving to his position of Consultant at Elenchus, Bayu was responsible for the initial specification, design and implementation of the Canadian Energy Regulation Information Service (CERISE) and the Ontario Electricity Monitoring Service (OEMS), the administration and maintenance of the two web-based energy information services, as well as the preparation of content including summaries of energy regulatory decisions from jurisdictions across Canada, proceeding updates, and news.
Bayu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, a Master of Science degree in Development Studies (Economics) and a Master of Science degree in Information Technology.
