Econalysis Consulting Services (ECS) has been actively involved in regulatory matters including regulation, deregulation, and regulatory reform in the energy, telecommunications and public auto insurance sectors since 1980. Our areas of experience encompass the development of and assessment of regulatory applications and regulatory structure (e.g., methodology, design, reform, implementation), strategic planning, industry intelligence, and educational seminars. ECS consultants regularly serve as expert advisors and witnesses for intervenors before the Ontario Energy Board, the Public Utility Board of Manitoba, the British Columbia Utilities Commission and the Quebec Régie de l’énergie. Through our participation on government committees and in industry associations and at conferences, ECS continues to be an active player in regulatory reform in the electricity, natural gas and telecommunications sectors as these industries move towards increasing competition.
